2007 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS 4WD
The 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander SUV is a new definition in “value”, and value is what every woman looks for in any purchasing decision. Finding value in an automobile purchase does not mean leaving behind performance, safety and the special features that make you look forward to the driving experience.
Performance Efficiency
Built on the Mitsubishi GS platform, the SUV has great pick-up with the
220-horsepower MIVEC V6 engine. Whether you are driving the ES, LS or the
XLS, gas mileage is the same and efficient at 20 city miles and 27 highway
miles. Driving the LS and XLS 4WD, gas mileage remains efficient at 19
city miles and 26 highway miles. The Japanese-built Mitsubishi Outlander
is efficient on the wallet too because the vehicle takes regular unleaded,
which is an unusual trait compared to competitive crossover SUVs.
With the Mitsubishi’s new All-Wheel Control System, available on both the LS and XLS, the Outlander showcases exceptional balance when maneuvering at higher speeds. All three models received a “first-tier” rating pass from the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety. This ranking assures consumers the Outlander performed well overall in crash tests.
Safety
The Mitsubishi Outlander considers safety and security as their highest
priority, which is a shared priority that women carry into the automobile
purchasing decision. With advanced dual-stage front airbags, side-impact
head protection curtain airbags, and front seat thorax side airbags, safety
in case of an accident is of paramount importance. Additional features in
decrease the chance of an accident is the anti-lock braking system with
EBD, Active Skid Control and tire pressure monitoring systems.
With vehicle theft on rise, the Outlander performs well in this area too. In addition to the FAST Key Free-Hand Advanced Security Transmitter, Mitsubishi has also built in the anti-theft engine immobilizer and the anti-theft security alarm system. There are also child safety locks, for those busy little hands sitting in the back seats!
Comfort
Front row seating is comfortable with standard features and taken up a
notch with “packaged features”. With adjustable options, and
the ability to change the rear seats using the split-fold, tumble,
reclining and independent sliding adjustments, you can make the interior
fit your ever-changing needs.
The back seat offers extra leg room, spacious seating accommodations, and a pull-down cup-holder armrest, the ride is very comfortable. The exceptional overhead lighting capability and audio surround sound will keep your guests very contented while they travel.
With seating capacity of up to 5 in both the ES and LS, and up to 7 in XLS, the Outlander SUV is relaxing and reliable transportation for both professional and personal use.
Standards and Features
As auto manufacturers continue to be competitive by adding new comfort
ideas to their models, the consumer always benefits. The Mitsubishi
Outlander provides many of the latest new ideas that generate sheer delight
into the driving experience, such as the Bluetooth® Hands-Free pre-wire
that can interface with voice recognition, automatic climate control and
the Mitsubishi Multi Communication System. Through this one system, you
can easily access the audio, Navigation, calendar, temperature, detailed
vehicle facts and other general information. The 650-watt Rockford
Fosgate audio system, which includes a 6CD/MP3 player with 9 speakers, a
digital sound processor and pre-wired Sirius® Satellite Radio with a six
month prepaid subscription, is another example of features under a package
you can add-on. However, the standard audio feature is strong with a
140-watt 1CD/MP3 player and 6 speakers, digital signal processor providing
the audio experience that will compliment your overall driving experience.

Warranty
The warranty was not an area I use to place emphasis on, but after
experiencing the role a warranty can have in vehicle satisfaction, it has
become a primary area of consideration for future vehicle purchases. The
confidence Mitsubishi has in the Outlander is extremely obvious based on
the Warranty they provide. It includes:
•
10 Year/100,000 miles Power train Limited* Warranty
•
5 Year/60,000 miles Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty
•
7 Year/100,000 miles Anti-Corrosion/Perforation Limited*
Warranty
•
5 Year/Unlimited miles Roadside Assistance
*Limited relates to a new owner would have the full warranty, but if a second owner purchases the vehicle, they receive the remaining time on the manufacturer’s warranty.
